CONTRIBUTIONS TO ATHLETICS AWARD

The Sault Area Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame exists to recognize and honor student athletes, coaches, teams and sports contributors for their achievements and/or contributions to the SAPS Athletic Program. You, as a community member, are entitled to nominate a past Sault Area High School athlete, coach, or a community member you feel is deserving of this honor.

The criteria for a person's nomination are simple:

1. The nominee must, during his/her career, have exemplified the pride and spirit of Sault Area Schools athletics.

2. If an athlete, he/she must have been a Sault High athlete, earned two varsity letters, and been out of high school for ten years.

3. If a coach, he/she must have coached in the Sault Area Public Schools for at least 5 years.

4. If an at-large nominee, he/she must have made significant contributions to the Sault Area Public Schools Athletic Program.

5. All nominees must have demonstrated good citizenship.
